At IU, how can I find out how many people have visited my web page?

At Indiana University Bloomington, due to privacy concerns, access logs on Mypage are not available.

To use a web page counter, see the Web Page Counter User Guide. Many free access counters are available online; see Yahoo!'s Access Counters. You can also use Google Analytics to monitor your site traffic.

Note: Use of Google Analytics and similar services is subject to IU policy; see IU's Use of Third-Party Web Analytics Services.

If your site is served from one of IU's central web servers (e.g., www.indiana.edu, www.iupui.edu, www.iuk.edu, or www.iun.edu), you can use Analog to track your statistics. For more information, see Web Usage Reports (requires an IU VPN connection).
