In Windows 7 or Vista, how can I tell whether I have the 32-bit or 64-bit version?

In Windows 7 and Vista, to determine whether you have the 32- or 64-bit version installed, from the Start menu, right-click Computer. Then, select Properties. Your version will display under "System", after "System type:".
