At IUPUI, how do I set up my 12 pager to beep when I receive voice mail through UMS?

If you use a 12 pager at IUPUI, follow the directions below to set up your pager notification rule:

1. Log into the UMS site at: https://umsweb.iu.edu/
2. Click Create New Rule.
   
   
3. Under "Voicemail Message Rules", click Notify Me. Click Continue.
   
   
4. Under "Notify Me at", under "Create a pager notification", check the box next to Pager.
   
   
5. In the first box, enter 12 . In the second box, enter your four-digit pager number followed by # (pound sign), and the full callback number. Click Save.

Now when you get a voice mail message, it will beep your 12 pager.
