Login is for authorized groups (e.g., UITS, OVPIT, and TCC) that need access to specialized Knowledge Base documents. Otherwise, simply use the Knowledge Base without logging in.

In the IUB STCs, how do I choose a printer other than the default?

To choose an STC printer other than the default, or to print to another STC location:

Windows STCs

  1. From the Start menu, choose Programs, and then Printers. Select any of the following, depending upon your need:

    • Color Printers
    • Information Commons
    • RTC
    • STC

  2. Select your desired location or printer.

Note: After you choose a printer, a black command window will appear. Be sure to leave the window open until the installation is complete.

Mac OS X STCs

  1. As you normally would, from the File menu, select Print... .

  2. From the pull-down menu next to "Printer:", select one of the available alternate printers.
