About Microsoft Office Specialist exams

On this page:

Introduction

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exams enable you to certify your skills in Office 2003 and Office 2007 applications using the only Microsoft-approved exams available. All exams are interactive and test your ability to accomplish discrete tasks by performing those tasks in live applications. This is a flexible and accurate way of assessing your skills. Exams are timed and last 45 to 60 minutes. For more, see the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) page.

Availability

Successfully passing the MOS exams will enable you to achieve three different levels of certification: Core, Expert, or Master.
