ARCHIVED: When taking Microsoft Desktop eLearning courses, do I have to make Internet Explorer my default web browser?

You need to use Internet Explorer to play any Microsoft Desktop eLearning courses on Microsoft Office. If you don't want Internet Explorer to be your default web browser, you can change the settings of the Microsoft eLearning Library (MELL) shortcut so Internet Explorer will launch for the courses even when you are using a different browser as your default. To make this change:

  1. Right-click the appropriate MELL shortcut and select Properties.
