Getting started with Unified Messaging Service (UMS) for faculty and staff at IUB or IUPUI
- To get started with Unified Messaging Service (UMS) at
Indiana University Bloomington or IUPUI, you must first contact your
telecommunications coordinator.

IUB:
At Indiana University Bloomington, if you do not know who your telecommunications coordinator is, complete this online form. Select
facultyorstaff, and clickContinue. ClickNo, and thenContinueagain. From the menu for the service you're interested in, select the name of your department. Your coordinator's contact information will then appear. -
IUPUI:
At IUPUI, if you do not know who your telecommunications coordinator is, phone 317-274-3004.

IUB:
- Send your name, username, campus telephone number, and campus to
your telecommunications coordinator, who will pass on your request
with the account number for billing.
- UITS consultants on your campus will provision your account. You will
receive an email confirmation with instructions for setting up your
account. If you have any questions, contact a Telecommunications
Consultant at 812-856-2287 (IUB) or 317-274-3004 (IUPUI).
- The first time you access the system, you will be prompted via the user tutorial to record your name and greeting, and to choose a new passcode. For access information, see What are the telephone numbers for UMS? and How can I use UMS from off campus?
