ARCHIVED: At IU, what are the system requirements for ITHelpLive?

In order to use the UITS ITHelpLive service, you must have a valid Indiana University Network ID, and your computer must be connected to the IU network. If you connect by modem, ITHelpLive might be very slow and have limited functionality.

ITHelpLive should work with most operating systems with an up-to-date browser.

Following are specific requirements for Windows computers:

  • Pentium 133MHz (or greater) processor

  • 32MB of RAM (or more)

  • 800x600 minimum display resolution

  • Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or Server 2003

  • Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Firefox 1.5 or higher
