At IU, what is the difference between Webserve and Mercury?
Webserve hosts departmental, faculty, course, and official student organization pages at Indiana University; see At IU, who can have an account on Webserve, and how do I get one? Webserve hosts accounts on:
www.indiana.eduwww.iupui.eduwww.iun.eduwww.iuk.edu
Mercury hosts personal web sites for faculty, staff, and
students at mypage.iu.edu; see At IU, what is Mypage, and how can I publish a web page there? Some
student organizations and faculty members may also choose to publish
their web pages on Mercury, as it is easy to create an account using
an existing IU Network ID.
Note: The IU South Bend Mypage service is different from the Mypage service noted here; see IUSB's Web Publishing: Mypage.
