Who can access the IUIE, and how do I log in?

Anyone can access the IUIE Welcome page.

If you have an IUIE account, from the Welcome page, click IU Login. Log into Central Authentication Service (CAS) using your Network ID.

If you have an IU Network ID but do not have an IUIE account, you can apply for one by clicking the Register tab and submitting the registration form; see In the IUIE, how do I request an account? If you have a Network ID but do not have an IUIE account, and you attempt to enter the IUIE, you will be redirected to the registration form.

Note: Logging into the IUIE does not require OTP authentication. However, if you access the TIME application via the Timekeeping folder in the Payroll folder, you will need to authenticate with your OTP token.

You can also access the IUIE from within OneStart. On the Services tab, on the left sidebar, choose Administrative Systems; then, to the right under "IUIE", click Access the IUIE.

If you have problems logging in, try synchronizing your passphrases; see At IU, how do I change my Network ID passphrase? If synchronizing your passphrases does not fix your IUIE login problem, contact the IUIE Help Desk to have your account setup checked. (If you are able to log into the IUIE, you can contact the IUIE Help Desk by clicking Feedback.)
