What do I need to know to install EndNote 9.0 from the Indiana University Libraries' EndNote and Reference Manager disk?

When you install EndNote 9.0 from the EndNote and Reference Manager disk, you will see the following message:

"You must close all web browser windows, including the EndNote and Reference Manager CD window, before continuing with this installation."

Do not click Cancel. Instead, do the following:

  1. Close all web browser windows, including the EndNote 9.0 window that appears behind the Stop dialog box.

  2. Click Retry.

  3. Click the Install EndNote button and continue with the installation.
