At IUB, how do I set up printing accounts for conference attendees?

Printing in the Student Technology Centers (STCs) at Indiana University Bloomington is dedicated to student usage because it is paid for through the Student Technology Fee. However, conference organizers can fund printing for their participants in 100-page increments at $4 per attendee. Request printing accounts at the same time as conference accounts. For instructions, see At IU, how do I request accounts for conference participants?

Note: Generating accounts for large groups of people can take up to a week. If you want printing enabled for conference participants, start this process at least a week before the conference begins.

Note: Sponsors must keep records of all conference account users. In the case of a security or policy violation, the sponsor must be able to supply identity and contact information for the user of the offending account at the time of the incident, and must assist in problem resolution.

If your conference will use the STCs, see Student Technology Centers standards and practices for more information regarding the policies governing the use of the STCs.
