At IU, how can I have scripts authenticate to get access to the MDSS?

Kerberos provides keytabs, a way for scripts to authenticate to Indiana University's Massive Data Storage Service (MDSS) without requiring you to supply a plaintext password. To learn about how to use Kerberos keytabs, see What is a keytab, and how do I use one?
