In Windows, how do I find out how much memory (RAM) I have?
To view the amount of RAM you have in Windows 7
or Vista, from the Start menu, right-click
Computer. Then, click Properties. In the page that
opens, the amount of memory will appear to the right of "Memory
(RAM):".
In Windows 2000 or XP:
- From the desktop or the Start menu, right-click the
My Computericon and selectProperties.Alternatively, double-click
My Computer. Double-click theControl Panelfolder, and then double-click theSystemicon. - Click the
Generaltab. At the bottom of the list, you will see how much RAM your computer has.
