What is the LSP database?

The UITS local support provider (LSP) database allows departmental support providers to enter information about their departments into a Microsoft SQL database by filling out a series of web forms.
UITS uses the information available in this database to better allocate limited resources to departments through their support providers. A database listing is required for LSPs and IT managers (ITMs) to access certain UITS servers and resources. The database is kept current through annual re-registration.
