In Microsoft Outlook, how do I add a picture of someone to my Outlook Contacts?
If you have a picture that you would like to add to your Contacts information in Outlook, follow the appropriate steps below.
Outlook 2003 and 2007
- Open the contact. To the right of the name information section,
click the picture icon.
- Search for the picture you want to use and click it once to
highlight it. Click
Opento add it to your contact.
- In the upper left corner of your contact, click
Save & Close.
Outlook 2002
- Open the picture in a graphics application such as Paintbrush or
Microsoft Photo Editor. In Mac OS, use a graphics
application such as Photoshop or Graphic Converter.
- Select the portion of the picture you would like to add. From the
Editmenu, selectCopy.
- In Outlook 2002, from the
Viewmenu, selectGo To, and then selectContacts. Open the contact you want to modify.
- Click the
Generaltab, and then click anywhere in the "Notes" area to place the cursor there.
- From the
Editmenu, selectPaste.
- To resize the picture, click the picture once and drag the frame
outline that appears.
- To save your changes, from the
Filemenu, selectSave.
