As a LISTSERV list owner, what do I need to know about using email with signature files?

In most cases, a mail program that automatically adds a signature will not cause problems when dealing with LISTSERV lists. However, if you are the list owner and you use the PUT command to update your list header information, do not add a signature file when returning the list header to the server. Doing so will cause LISTSERV to parse your signature file looking for subscribers, which will likely result in an error.
