Login is for authorized groups (e.g., UITS, OVPIT, and TCC) that need access to specialized Knowledge Base documents. Otherwise, simply use the Knowledge Base without logging in.

At IU, is there a cost to provide information on the university web server?

Accounts on the university web server are allocated 1 GB of disk space at no charge for university organizations, departments, and faculty. Charges are determined by calculating a running average of disk space daily for each user. At the end of the fiscal year, if your average exceeds 1 GB, you will be charged $2 for every 1 GB over the 1 GB limit. Be aware that there are no encumbrances for exceeding the limit; do not assume your account is under 1 GB simply because you are still able to upload files.

Auxiliary services are charged $250 per year for a 1 GB account. Additional 1 GB blocks are available at the $2 yearly rate.
